Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It's administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed, and if it is high, we are protected from illness and stress; in short, good health depends on good energy flow. Reiki Practitioners can channel this energy into people via the palms of their hands by touching them on various positions of the body known as "chakras."


How does Reiki work?

The result is that a calming sensation comes over the patient as he or she relaxes deeply into trancelike blissful state of beingness where he/she can move about freely without worry about anything at all because nothing exists except for this momentous experience which proves beyond doubt that there really isn't anything else besides yourself but you!

Reiki Healing For Anxiety


The most significant thing I learned through the process of seeking out Reiki was a sense of peace, tranquility and well-being. This allowed me to relax and heal on all levels — body, mind, and spirit. Many people use Reiki to help with anxiety that comes from being in a less-than-desirable environment or from having to place themselves in a situation that causes stress. But it can also be used for long-term anxiety as a way to help you let go of past events that cause anxiety by helping you focus on the present and improving your future outlook. Similar to meditation, Reiki is a healing art that has been around for centuries. It's based on the theory that everything is made of energy and we're all connected by this invisible force. It's a way to get your mind off of things.

Many people have found that the healing, balancing and calming effects of Reiki are beneficial in treating issues with stress, anxiety and depression.
