Wanted to share what I have been observing with my teens and in my Reiki Practice. Teenagers are going through a lot of changes in their lives, especially during puberty. It can be a confusing time for them, and they may feel lost. It's a deep transformative years and core essence building years.
Their minds are constantly working and focused on their future, as well as pressures that come with it. They worry about what university they should get into, whether or not they will get good grades at school, and how to deal with emotional problems such as anxiety. It can be a confusing time for them as they try to find their own identity and make sense of the world around them. During this time, it's not uncommon for teenagers to feel lost or overwhelmed by all the new information that comes with becoming an adult.
It's easy for teenagers to get caught up in their problems and forget about taking care of themselves physically, mentally and emotionally. Having two teenagers I do see this and understand it very well what one goes through.
By introducing Reiki to teenagers or young children, you are strengthening their light, helping them remember the forgotten parts. These mini awakenings have always happened. We faced challenges in our teenage lives. I wish communication about energy healing, Crystals and self-help tools were more available during our teen years, but for today's teens, it is accessible and essential to bring them closer to it.
They will remember who they are and what they are here for more easily. The paths we travelled to unlearn and reconnect they can avoid it if the tools are shown to them. Many teenagers are creative souls, empathetic and know exactly what they want. Empaths come with pure hearts and need to be safeguard and keep their senses open. However, the world they are in counteracts this, hindering the activation of their senses. They stop singing, engaging in art, and dancing unless it's needed at a party or in compulsion. They don't express themselves as they did at three years old.
Reiki healing helps awaken these gifts at early ages and assists in nurturing their souls to balance the paths they are choosing. As a mother to teens, I observe closely what is happening energetically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally in their worlds. My teenage years was rough and challenging and have deep connection to work with teens and empower them with the gifts they carry within. They are being coiled in, and it is our purpose to uncoil and set them free to be who they are meant to be.
Our children need us more than ever for support, and in supporting them, we learn more about ourselves. They help us reflect on the paths we have traveled and will choose to travel.
Reiki is a Japanese word that means "universal life energy." It is a form of alternative medicine that aims to heal the mind, body and spirit by balancing the energy flow in these three areas. This healing practice helps people relax, feel better emotionally and focus on healing their own bodies naturally. Reiki works great for teenagers because it helps them find inner peace during one of the most difficult times in life - adolescence and life changes they are going through. Current teens have been effected by the COVID and now they coming into the world with Social anxiety. It's been hurtful to watch them go into their coil rather uncoil to feel their power. We as adults wont relate to it or understand it. As these situations didn't happen to us. We need to honor their space for letting them heal and open up.
Reiki helps them relax and find inner peace so they can focus on what matters most: their well-being!
The energy created by Reiki could strengthen the connection between thoughts and feelings which will allow your teenager to better understand himself/herself at deeper levels than ever before! During this time, it is hard for teenagers to think about their well-being because they have so many other things going through their minds.
Reiki can help strengthen the connection between thoughts and feelings which will allow the teen to make better decisions about what really matters in his/her life and work out what he/she wants from it and gives them strength to face any challenge that may come their way.
This form of healing works great on any mental health issue such as depression or anxiety as well as physical issues like sleep problems or pain relief from injuries.
